LeadsMapsBot
LeadsMapsBot checks a business's homepage when a LeadsMaps user asks about that business — for example, whether the site loads over HTTPS and works on a phone. It is not a crawler.
What it does
- Reads your robots.txt first, and stops if it is not allowed.
- Requests your homepage once, only when a user asks about your business.
- Does not follow links to other pages, submit forms or log in.
- Gives up after 8 seconds and reads at most 512 KB.
How to stop it
Add this to your robots.txt:
User-agent: LeadsMapsBot Disallow: /
